Mid-Year Review (MIDREV) 2011

Rotaract District 3780 Mid-Year (MIDREV) 2011
Quezon City Hall / January 29, 2011
Host Club: Rotaract Club of Cubao

In general, the Mid-Year Review (MIDREV) 2011 was successful. There were 60 Rotaractors, Rotarians and Guests (46 Registered Rotaractors, 5 Rotarians, 6 Host Club members, 5 Rotarians and 3 Panelists) who attended the event. This is the average good number for a MIDREV. Well, when analyzing events, most Rotaractors prefer attendance in party and out of town and not on serious reporting type of event.

Other Important notes:
-Most important lesson learned in hosting MIDREV focused in taking full responsibility for accepted assignments.
-Never thought that city halls are that good. I thought I was in Club Filipino. I forgot I was in Quezon City hall!
-Panelists were great in doing evaluation and giving suggestions.
-Great Presentation Tips Take-Out: present action pictures and not just cute pictures, put simple caption like event name, venue and date (should not be lengthy).
-Informative and Interactive guest speaker.
-Room size is not proportionate to the actual attendance.
-Lapses in program execution both for the district and host club.
-Conformity: When its formal, so be it!
Haha! I was guilty of this one last Saturday. For whatever personal reasons, one should conform with the dress code. Or was the formal dress code for participants only?:)
